LiftMaster Security+ 3.0 transition
Select current LiftMaster openers ship with Security+ 3.0, the newest generation of LiftMaster rolling-code access control. It uses stronger encryption and updated pairing to reduce the chance of code grabbing or replay attacks. As LiftMaster moves to Security+ 3.0 hardware, older remotes and keypads may need an updated replacement for compatibility. We can confirm what your current accessories can use and supply the right remotes or keypads if you’re upgrading an opener.
