Quality customer service always comes first, and this belief has driven our business for nearly 50 years and across three generations of our family.
A True Family Business
Barton Overhead Door Inc. was founded by Mike and Naomi Barton. They started the company from their Ceres home, where they were building one-piece doors out of an old chicken barn on their property and serving local customers. Slowly but surely, the business grew and they opened their second location in Sonora back in 1977. In 1984, they purchased and moved to the 84 Lumber building on Carpenter Road in Modesto, where our business is still located today. We now have around 40 great employees working for our company in our Sonora and Modesto offices, yet the original spirit of our small family business is at the heart of everything we do.
Barton Overhead Door is now led by the next generations of Bartons, including Mike and Naomi’s son, Michael, and his sons, Jamin, Landon, and son-in-law Luke Domecq. They all work here as part of our third generation of family leadership. Many of our employees have been with the company for a long time, including Calvin Boyd, who first started working with us in 1977.
