Barton replaced a dark brown garage door with a white CHI raised-panel door at this Turlock home. Before-and-after photos show the same garage opening beneath the tile roof, with the lighter door finish changing the appearance of the driveway side of the house.
Raised panels with decorative hardware
The finished door uses a traditional raised-panel pattern with black decorative handles and hinges. The dark hardware stands out against the white finish, adding a carriage-house detail to the sectional door’s appearance. There are no top windows in the replacement shown here.
