Stockton and Arched Stockton inserts
The window style comes from the inserts, the decorative grilles that fit into each window frame. The two center windows have Stockton inserts, two rows of four small panes, the classic carriage-house pattern. The two end windows have Arched Stockton inserts, which give the whole window row a gentle arch.
The hardware sells the look
Carriage-house doors borrow the look of old swing-out coach doors. The strap hinges don’t hinge anything; the working hinges are on the inside. Still, the handles and hinges are what make it read as a carriage door. Black on white is the classic pairing, and it shows up from the street.
