Full-View Door Options

The many different options include color, glass, and insulation. These doors are available with insulated glass. Being a sectional door, they can be mounted with standard back hang, high lift, or vertical lift. A number of different commercial operators can be used depending on the size and mounting method. CHI 3295 and 3297 Full-View Aluminum

CHI’s commercial Full-View Aluminum lineup includes Model 3295 with no section insulation and Model 3297 with polystyrene-insulated section rails. Both use 2-inch-thick sections, tongue-and-groove section joints with weather seal, through-bolted stiles, and clear anodized or RAL powder-coat finish options. The CHI family brochure lists maximum sizes up to 24'2" wide by 20'0" high for both models, with plain, tinted, obscure, and frosted glass options. CHI’s Model 3295 commercial specification sheet also lists an STC rating of 27, pass-door capability, and standard or tempered glazing choices including 1/8-inch, 1/4-inch, and 1/2-inch insulated glazing options.

ArmRLite Custom C.I. Details

ArmRLite’s Custom C.I. overhead sectional door is built for large aluminum-and-glass openings, with windload availability, a listed maximum width of 30'2", and a welded frame warranty. ArmRLite’s custom options page ties the broad option range to welded aluminum construction, including rails and stiles that can be foam-filled as part of the Energy Efficiency Package.

• Glazing: 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch non-insulated glass, plus 7/16-inch, 5/8-inch, and 1-inch insulated glass units; glazing choices include frosted, tinted, laminated, polycarbonate, tempered/safety, acoustical, and custom glass when confirmed for the project.
• Pass doors: ADA compliant pass doors are available on Titan and Custom C.I. models when the opening, floor, hardware, and motorized interlock requirements fit the project; step-over pass doors are private-use options and are not ADA compliant.
• Privacy glass: Smart Frost can switch between frosted privacy glass and clear glass, and ArmRLite describes it as compatible with all ArmRLite aluminum and glass overhead door models.
• Finishes: ArmRLite finish choices include popular anodized finishes and custom color families; final color chips, finish warranty fit, and site exposure should be confirmed before ordering.
